Foxglove Zinfandel
The Zinfandel is a nice addition to an already pleasant family of varieties from Foxglove.
by John Franzmann
Foxglove has been making nice quality Cabernet and Chardonnay for some time, so I expected a decent Zinfandel. I wasn’t disappointed.
The aromas were of rich raspberries and cherries. Initial flavors were of raspberry and spice, followed with a nice, smooth acidity.
The finish was peppery with hints of oak. A nice, well balanced wine.
